A few weeks ago I asked my Facebook friends for their suggestions for a new video. One from Floris was suggesting a song by Punch Brothers.
I checked it on Spotify and accidentally played a different song by them: ‘It’s All Part Of The Plan’, from their latest album called ‘All Ashore’. I guess it was indeed part of somebody’s plan (sorry, had to). The song immediately struck me. The big dynamics, the beautiful voice of Chris Thile, and all four of the amazingly virtuoso musicians being so subservient to the song. There’s really nothing not to love there. Also, I finally caught my ‘hop’ on camera. This happens when I reaaally enjoy what I’m hearing. I did!
